The Foundation for Terrebonne General Medical Center
Description:
Regional hall of fame induction banquet for six local athletes either born or educated in Terrebonne, Lafourche, or Assumption Parish. Tickets are on sale now. Banquet proceeds will directly benefit the Foundation's drive to purchase a mobile medical clinic/blood mobile.

Terrebonne Parish resident Barbara Celestine is to lead the discussion with details from her own experiences in researching the rich histories of local families. “Researching African American Genealogy” will also invite back keynote speaker Antoinette Harrell, a genealogist and historian renowned for her work in African American studies. Celestine and Harrell together will explore the many different resources historians can use in genealogical research.
