A public meeting to define the planning process, discuss ways to encourage and facilitate public input and participation, and review the existing Hazard Mitigation Plan to see what has been accomplished and what remains to be accomplished or improved.
Enjoy wine, appetizers, and trendy and designer purses for sale and auction. Tickets are $55 and will sponsor a local child in the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program for one year.

The Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library announce their annual Spelling Bee. Levels and times are as follows:
Level 1: 1st - 2nd Grade at 9:30 a.m.
Level 2: 3rd - 4th Grade at 11:00 a.m.
Level 3: 5th - 6th Grade at 1:00 p.m.
Open Competition: 2:00 p.m.
To participate in levels 1-3, patrons must pay $1, open competitors $2. All proceeds go towards library resources and services.
Southdown Marketplace is a one-day arts and crafts festival, featuring more than 300 vendors. $5 entry fee per person, and children 12 and under get in for free.
Come enjoy all-you-can-eat pastalaya, live music, craft vendors, carnival-style games for kids, and more. The entry fee is $5 per person, and free for children 5 and under.
