Our adoption team makes every effort to make a great match for animals and adopters. Our adoption process begins with completing a simple adoption questionnaire. Shortly after you submit your completed questionnaire, you will receive a call from our adoption team to start the matching process. Don't worry, we our goal isn't to judge you, so we won't be prying deep into your privacy. Our goal is to match you with a pet that is right for your home so that you both will live happily ever after!!
Please be patient and know that we want to adopt animals to good homes just as much as you want to adopt.

Adoption Fees
Wow! You get ALL this AND a lifetime of love for a small fee!
Adoption fees include ALL of the following:
- Brief health exam
- Heartworm test (dogs)
- First set of vaccinations
- Dewormer
- Microchip (including registration)
- Heartworm preventative (initial 30-day dose for dogs)
- Flea prevention (already applied on the pet while at the shelter)
- Spay/neuter
- Starter bag of Science Diet food (with coupons)

Home To Home™
Home To Home™ helps pets stay out of shelters. It is a unique tool for pet owners looking to re-home their animals. Home to Home gives pet owners who can no longer keep their pets the opportunity to find a new, loving home without ever seeing the inside of a shelter. It’s FREE to use for both owners and adopters, and gives animals needing a new home the best of both worlds: their current owners can find the best fit, and their adopters can learn all about their personality and preferences first-hand. It’s a win-win for pets and people!
There’s no place like home. Unfortunately, pets sometimes need a new one. We understand. That’s why we’re introducing Home to Home. Find your pet a new home (or find a new pet for your home). Animal Rescue
Are you a non-profit animal rescue organization and want to help our adoptable animals? Please begin by downloading and completing our simple rescue application. Be sure to submit all required documentation to expedite the approval process.
AFTER submission of the rescue application and appropriate documents, please send an e-mail to rescue@tpcg.org with "RESCUE REQUEST" in the subject line. Please indicate which animal you are interested by including animal ID#, color, breed, cage number (if applicable), name, etc. Our staff will contact you shortly after. Please remember to include the rescue contact's name, phone number(s) and e-mail address. Thanks for caring about animals!
Working Cat Adoption Program
Thanks to their natural instincts, cats can provide a free and natural form of pest control for warehouses, stables, barns, farms, and ranches. TPAS often has cats that do not fit in the conventional adoptable category, but they need a home none-the-less. These kitties are classified as working cats.
Cats that qualify as a working cat are looking to live out their days in a barn or warehouse, while keeping the rodent and insect population under control. Similar programs across the country have found success with this practice, and local barn owners praise the results of this program.
If you’re looking for some extra help with pest control and would like to “hire” a working cat, fill out the Working Cat Adoption Questionnaire. There is no adoption fee, and the cats come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and ear-tipped. Working cats are adopted as a minimum of two.
