What we do
The Parish President supervises and directs the Chief of Staff as well as the Departments of Administration, Communications, and Finance. He keeps the Parish Council informed of the financial condition of the government, with recommendations for action; submits the annual budget to the Council; and performs other duties prescribed by the Home Rule Charter.
The goal is to better serve the citizens of Terrebonne Parish through the provision of a fairer and friendlier local governmental organization delivering professional, high quality, cost-effective services within the framework of the Parish Charter, and to respond to and plan for the developing needs of the community in an innovative and pro-active manner.
