Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to administer naloxone, also known as Narcan, a life saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. The event will also highlight local and regional resources, including support programs and organizations available to assist individuals and families affected by opioid use. In addition, participants will hear firsthand testimonies from overdose survivors who are now living healthy lifestyles.

KTB Waterway Cleanup

Keep Terrebonne Beautiful will host a Love Our Waterways Cleanup
as part of Love Our Waterways, Louisiana’s largest coordinated waterway and shoreline litter removal initiative organized by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
Volunteer registration and check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m., with cleanup activities taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Community volunteers are invited to help remove litter and debris from the Bayou Terrebonne area.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose from three cleanup areas:
● Bayou-side cleanup
● Roadside cleanup
● In-the-water boat cleanup
