How to Ride
Good Earth Transit is a parishwide transportation system committed to providing safe and reliable transit and quality service for Terrebonne Parish residents. Fixed-route transit buses operate throughout parish.

Free Fare - Bicycles on the Bus |

Each bus is equipped with an easy-to-use bicycle rack for our passengers' convenience. In order to be qualified to use the bicycle rack on the bus, you must first receive a Bike Pass. To receive a bike pass, each applicant must undergo training to use the bicycle rack properly. These training sessions are held at 1:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Good Earth Transit main office located at 137 Intracoastal Drive in Houma. |
Regular Fare - Day Pass - $2.50 |

This pass allows unlimited rides per day. If you know that you will need to ride several times during the day, you can purchase a day pass when you board. |

Bus Routes and Schedules
First, find the route closest to where you are, then see if where you want to go is located on the same route. If it isn't, you will need to transfer to a different route. Transferring is simple. Stay on the bus until it reaches the Bus Transfer Terminal, located at the corner of Main Street and Barataria Avenue. You may now board the bus which will take you to your final destination.
Route Colors
Each route is depicted in a different color. To know when to catch the bus, check the bus time schedule below. Good Earth Transit buses are not assigned exact times at every stop. The times depicted are at the ends of the routes. From these times you can estimate when the bus will get to your stop.

Bus Stops
Good Earth Transit bus stop signs and shelters are conveniently located throughout the transit system. If you need help finding the nearest stop, please call us at (985) 850-4616 for assistance.
To ride, please wait at the bus stop sign or within the shelter. When the bus approaches, look straight at the driver so he will know that you want him to stop. Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and passengers have exited before approaching the bus to enter.

Disabled Passenger
Disabled persons who cannot board the regular bus along the route should contact (985) 850-4616 to find out about applying for paratransit services.
