***Updated Sandbag Distribution Information***

The Terrebonne Parish Public Works Department is no longer providing prefilled sandbags, but will continue to provide sand for residents to fill their own sandbags. Parish President Gordon Dove authorized the sandbag distribution as a precaution due to the potential of backwater flooding from the high-water conditions of the Atchafalaya River in Morgan City. 

The following locations will be self-serve and open to the public 24-hours per day, 7 days a week until the event is over. These sites require residents to fill their own sandbags and it is recommended that residents bring their own shovel:

• Gibson East Fire Station - 5218 North Bayou Black Drive, Gibson
• Devon Keller Memorial Center - 5575 Bayou Black Drive, Gibson
• Bayou Black Fire Station - 2820 Savanne Road, Houma
• West Terrebonne Central Fire Station -116 Merry Moss Street, Gibson
