Contractor Licenses
Anyone engaging in plumbing, gas fitting, electrical, or mechanical contracting must register annually and pay a fee of $100. Applicants must furnish an occupational license per LA R.S. 47:362, a valid and relevant certificate of registration, and a valid current insurance certificate.

Anyone wishing to sell alcoholic beverages in Terrebonne Parish must apply for a license and pay the license application fee of $25 in addition to any other license fees, permit fees, or other fees for retailers, wholesalers, or dispensers of alcoholic beverages under city, parish, state, and/or federal regulations.

Each person pursing any trade, profession, occupation, vocation, calling or business in Terrebonne Parish is subject to the occupation license tax and must register with the Terrebonne Parish Sales Tax Department. This tax is due and payable on the date of commencement and renewed annually.
