What We Do

The director of the Department of Finance is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO oversees the functions of Accounting, Bill Paying and Licensing, and Purchasing and Warehouse.

 

Divisions under Finance

Accounting

Preserves the public trust and confidence through innovative and practical financial management. Performs all activities leading to the timely deliverance and usefulness of accurate financial and management reports to user departments and agencies of this government.

Bill Paying and Licensing

Central collection point of all services for Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government. Performs and oversees all Utility Billings and Collections, bad debt collections of same, and other Administrative consumer related services such as issuing various permits/licenses.

Purchasing and Warehouse

Provides leadership and guidance in all phases of material utilization, including acquisition, storage, distribution, re-utilization and disposal. While acting in the Parish's best interest, it is their objective to maximum the value for each tax dollar spent on materials, supplies and/or services.
