TPAS Offers Back-to-School Adoption Special for Cats and Dogs Aug. 18-25
The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter has an abundance of adoptable animals and is offering a special back-to-school Homework Buddy adoption fee on cats and dogs. The shelter will offer adoptions for $25.00 for cats and $50.00 for dogs beginning Saturday, August 18, 2018 and ending Saturday, August 25, 2018.
Adoption hours during the week are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adoption hours on Saturdays are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The shelter will not be open for intake on Saturdays. It is with great anticipation that by offering a reduced price for adoptions that more animals can find homes.
Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter’s Facebook page and Petfinder.com.
Adopted animals are provided with the following:
- health exam
- vaccinations
- dewormer
- appropriate testing
- microchip (including registration)
- spay/neuter
- 1 mo. supply of flea prevention
- 1 mo. supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
- starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
