44th Annual Over and Under Tunnel Run to be Held Apr. 13
Houma's 44th Annual Over and Under Tunnel Run will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Houma Municipal Auditorium, 880 Verret Street. This event includes a kids' fun run, 5K over the twin span and through the tunnel, and a post-race after party including food, drinks, live music, and a bounce house for kids. Those who do not want to participate in the 5K but would like to enjoy the festivities after can purchase a $5 armband to attend.
Registration begins at 2:30 pm. Entrance fees are $25 for adults, $20 for kids 12 and under, and $15 for no-shirt entry. The fun run begins at 3:30 pm, and the 5K begins at 4:00 pm. Cash prizes will be awarded during the post-race party.
The Tunnel Run has partnered with the Foundation for TGMC to ensure all proceeds from the event stay within our community. The Foundation for TGMC supports various programs including, but not limited to:
- the Community Sports Institute
- free cardiac screening
- NICU assistance for families
- blood drives
