H&HS Encourages Residents to Apply for Utility Assistance August 20-23

Parish President Gordon E. Dove, his Administration, and the TPCG Parish Council wish to announce that the TPCG Department of Housing & Human Services is offering utility assistance to low-income families. 

Residents interested in applying must go to one of the sites on the date and time listed below:

  • Tuesday, August 20, 2019
    • 8 to 10 a.m. - Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd., Houma
    • 1 to 3 p.m. - East Houma Gym, 126 Boundary Road, Houma
  • Wednesday, August 21, 2019
    • 8 to 10 a.m. - Ward 7 Citizen's Club, 5006 Hwy 56, Chauvin
  • Thursday, August 22, 2019
    • 8 to 10 a.m. - Devon Keller Gym, 5575 Bayou Black Dr., Gibson
    • 1 to 3 p.m. - Andrew Price Gym, 1829 West Park Avenue, Schriever
  • Friday, August 23, 2019
    • Dulac Community Center, 125 Coast Guard Rd., Dulac

Doors will be locked at closing time. No one will be allowed in once the doors are closed. No exceptions. 

Residents can apply every 6 months if funding is available and applications are being accepted. Residents do not need to have their utilities through TPCG in order to qualify.
