TPLS Announces Annual Spelling Bee Saturday, November 2
The Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library announce their annual Spelling Bee, to be hosted on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Main Library .
Levels for the Spelling Bee are divided by grade for school-aged children. The Friends also host an open competition for teens and adults. Levels and times are as follows:
- Level 1: 1st - 2nd Grade at 9:30 a.m.
- Level 2: 3rd - 4th Grade at 11:00 a.m.
- Level 3: 5th - 6th Grade at 1:00 p.m.
- Open Competition: 2:00 p.m.
To participate in levels 1-3, patrons must pay $1, open competitors $2. All proceeds go towards library resources and services. The Friends of the Library do not provide a list of Spelling Bee words prior to competition. Registration is not required.
