Roux for a Reason Gumbo Cook Off to be Held Sat. March 7
Roux for a Reason, the annual gumbo cook off benefiting the Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center, will begin at noon on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Southdown Plantation, 1208 Museum Drive, Houma.
Teams will complete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as the People's Choice Award.
General admission is $15 and includes gumbo tasting, live music, kids' activities, and more.
