Voter Information for the Open Primary Tuesday, November 3
The Presidential General and Open Congressional Primary Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
Early voting is from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. from Friday, October 16, 2020, through Tuesday, October 27, 2020 (closed on Sundays.) In order to meet social distancing requirements, early voting will be located at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd., Houma.
Voter registration deadlines are as followed:
- In person or by mail: Monday, October 5, 2020
- Online at geauxvote.com: Tuesday, October 13, 2020
If you wish to vote by mail ballot, the last day to request is Friday, October 30, 2020. All mail ballots must be returned by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020. This does not apply for military and overseas citizens.
