Houma Courthouse Bandstand Groundbreaking Held in Courthouse Square
Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government has partnered with the Hache Grant Association and Houma Downtown Development Corporation to build the Houma Courthouse Bandstand. A groundbreaking ceremony was held at the Houma Courthouse on June 13, 2022.
The organizations’ goal for the bandstand is to restore a sense of community and pride to downtown Houma. It will be a replica of the historic downtown bandstand built during Houma’s Golden Age in the early 1900s.
