Luminate Houma Kicks Off 2023 Performances with Jan. 14 Show
Luminate Houma will host the first event of 2023 in Memorial Park on Saturday, January 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The park, which is located next to the Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro, will be illuminated by dozens of candles as local band, No Posers, performs the first show of the year.
In addition to live local musicians, attendees can enjoy refreshments provided by Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro and Bayou Terrebonne Distillers. Children's activities will be provided by CASA of Terrebonne, and the Bayou Regional Arts Council will showcase original pieces from artists all over Terrebonne Parish. For those unable to join in person, Spilt Liquor Productions will stream the event live on Facebook.
This family-friendly, outdoor event is free to the public and scheduled for every second Saturday of the month. Bring your chairs and enjoy the essence of local musicians and artists showcasing their talents.
