TPCG Continues to Make Recycling Easier For Residents
Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet would like to announce the ongoing efforts to make recycling easier and more efficient for residents in Terrebonne.
First, Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government is seeking participation in a proposed residential curb-side recycling program. The cost of participation would be $10 per quarter ($40 per year) for weekly collection of eligible recyclables including most paper, cardboard, plastics, and tin and aluminum cans. One recycling container will be provided to each participating household for the storage and collection of mixed (single stream) recyclables. Once begun, this program would replace the current Community Recycling Program (drop-off bins) in the established service area. This program can only be offered if a minimum number of residents in an area subscribe.
