Terrebonne Parish NAACP to Host Month-Long Black History Celebration at Library

The Terrebonne Parish Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will host a month-long Black History Month Celebration at the Main Branch of the Terrebonne Parish Library every Thursday in February from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The theme for Black History Month 2023 is Black Resistance: Our Fight for Equality. Each week, a different topic will be presented in the auditorium of the main library. All Terrebonne Parish residents are invited to join the NAACP as they honor the sacrifices and celebrate the progress that Black Americans have made throughout the years.

Free refreshments will be provided by NadieB's Taste of HomeAh. For more information, contact Terrebonne Parish NAACP President, Jerome Boykin, Sr. at 985-381-0177.
