Houma Elks Lodge #1193 to Host Duck Derby Extravaganza on Saturday, November 11
The Houma Elks Lodge #1193 is excited to announce the return of its annual Duck Derby and Inaugural Duck Extravaganza on Saturday, November 11, 2023, in Downtown Houma. The festival is a fun-filled day for all ages, featuring a duck derby race, craft vendors, a duck hunt (scavenger hunt), a Quack Pot Showdown (a crockpot cookoff), and more.
The purpose of the festival is to raise money for the Houma Elks Lodge #1193's programs that benefit Veterans. The Elks are a fraternal organization with a long history of supporting veterans and their families.
The Duck Derby Extravaganza will be held from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, in Downtown Houma. The festival will feature a variety of activities for the whole family, including:
