GOHSEP Seeking Info on Economic Impact of the Cold Weather Event from Small Businesses

Due to the significant economic impacts of the historic cold weather that affected the state starting on January 20, 2025, the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) is exploring the option of submitting a request for federal assistance from the Small Business Administration (SBA). This request will facilitate disaster loans for businesses adversely affected by this weather event.

To capture the accurate damages sustained, GOHSEP is asking the private sector to complete the attached survey and return it by January 24, 2025, if possible. Return the survey to:

Allison Hadley, GOHSEP Director of Recovery Allison.Saari@la.gov
Or Jacqueline (Jackie) Gazzea, GOHSEP IA Branch Manager Jaqueline.Gazzea@la.gov

Submitting the survey will not guarantee that your business will be eligible for a disaster loan, but there will be no availability without your information. Survey is attached below.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with either of the individuals above or info@labeoc.org.
