Public Hearing for CDBG's 5-Year Consolidated Plan
The Community Development Block Grant Division is conducting its first of two public hearings on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at 4800 Hwy 311 in Houma, Louisiana, to gather public input on its 5-Year Consolidated Plan.
The Five-Year Consolidated Plan is required by HUD as a prerequisite for the CDBG Program. It identifies the overall needs of the Parish in providing decent housing and sustainable living environments, as well as expanding economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income families. Throughout the planning process, priorities are established for meeting these needs.
