2025 Pirates & Boots Festival To Be Held on April 26

Get ready to set sail for fun at the 2025 Pirates & Boots Festival, happening Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Houma Downtown Marina (8226 E Park Ave, Houma, LA 70363). Hosted by Keep Terrebonne Beautiful, this unique celebration of Louisiana’s bayou culture is the only pirate festival in the state, and it promises a day full of entertainment, family-friendly activities, and local flavor — all while supporting a cleaner, more beautiful Terrebonne Parish.

The day starts at 11:15 a.m. with a dramatic Pirate Invasion, followed by black powder demonstrations and pirate-themed fun. Festival-goers can enjoy a pirate costume contest for kids and adults, arts & crafts booths, and delicious local food vendors.

A full lineup of incredible live music will keep the good times rolling all day, featuring performances by:

  • Bending Willow Band
  • Good Company
  • The Whiskey Bay Rovers
  • Dirty Water Blues

“This festival is a great way to celebrate our community’s culture and bring people together while raising awareness and funds to support our mission,” said Billie Babin Richard, Festival Coordinator. “Keep Terrebonne Beautiful is dedicated to empowering residents to take personal responsibility for preventing litter and beautifying our parish.”

Admission is free and open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best pirate attire, enjoy the festivities, and help Keep Terrebonne Beautiful continue its mission to preserve and protect the natural beauty of our bayou community.
