TPCG Awarded Keep Louisiana Beautiful Trash Receptacle Grant for 2025-2026
Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government (TPCG) is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of 47 recipients statewide for the 2025–2026 Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) Trash Receptacle Grant. Through this award, TPCG will receive five new trash receptacles to be installed at the Bayou Country Sports Park.
The KLB Trash Receptacle Grant program supports litter prevention efforts by providing durable, high-quality public waste containers to communities throughout Louisiana. For the 2025–2026 cycle, KLB awarded a total of 230 trash receptacles to 47 organizations across 31 parishes, helping increase access to proper waste disposal and reduce litter in public spaces.
The addition of these five receptacles at the Bayou Country Sportsplex will support cleaner grounds, enhance visitor experience, and promote responsible waste management at one of Terrebonne Parish’s most active recreational facilities.
