Save the Date for LA Dept. of Health's Upcoming Opioid Awareness Events
Join the Louisiana Department of Health and the 32nd JDC Family Preservation Court for education and resources needed to address the opioid crisis in Terrebonne Parish.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to administer naloxone, also known as Narcan, a life saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. The event will also highlight local and regional resources, including support programs and organizations available to assist individuals and families affected by opioid use. In addition, participants will hear firsthand testimonies from overdose survivors who are now living healthy lifestyles.
