June is Homeownership Month!

In recognition of HOMEOWNERSHIP MONTH, Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government (TPCG) would like to spotlight its partnership with South Central Regional Affordable Community Housing (SCRACH) that supports the development of affordable housing opportunities for homeownership. TPCG donated an empty lot located at 600 Westview Drive to SCRACH, a non-profit subsidiary of South Central Planning and Development Commission, with the intention to expand access to safe, decent, and affordable homeownership opportunities to eligible low-income individuals and families within the parish. The value of lot will be provided to the homebuyer at closing as a mortgage reduction to decrease the principal amount financed to improve housing affordability.

SCRACH is thrilled to offer 600 Westview Drive, a storm-resilient home, built from stainless steel and rated for 165 mph winds. This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom residence is designed to last. The elevated second story features an open layout with natural light, a modern kitchen, and ample storage. Front and rear patios enhance outdoor living, while the ground level includes a covered carport for gatherings. This home, built with fire-resistant, termite-proof, and rot-resistant materials, requires low maintenance and is designed for easy expansion to meet future needs. For more information contact Morgan Davis with Canal & Main at 985-387-5481.
