Home Sewage Assistance Program for Residents in the Upper Bayou Terrebonne Watershed
Residents along Upper Bayou Terrebonne may qualify for sewage system repair assistance!
The Home Sewage Assistance Program is offering eligible homeowners in parts of Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes financial assistance to repair failing home sewage systems.
Through a partnership between the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program, LUMCON, SCPDC, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, qualifying residents may receive reimbursement for repair costs.
This voluntary, one-time program helps protect public health, local waterways, and the Upper Bayou Terrebonne watershed. SCPDC will inspect eligible systems, coordinate the process, and reimburse qualifying repairs.
