Tree Board Tree Giveaway
The Terrebonne Parish Tree Board will be giving away free trees for Arbor Day. The tree giveaway, sponsored by Apache Corp., a land company, will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Terrebonne Library Main Branch, 151 Library Drive, Houma.
Trees will be given away on a first come, first serve basis. There are 1,000 saplings available, as well as potted trees. All are native trees.
