Cocodrie Up for Ultimate Fishing Town Honors
Houma, LA-Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet would like to encourage all residents to vote for Cocodrie in the WFN’s (World Fishing Network) Ultimate Fishing Town Contest.
Residents can vote by visiting www.ultimatefishingtown.com. Individuals are eligible to vote four (4) times per 24-hour period, or once every six hours. Voting will conclude on May 3rd.
The winning town will receive a $25,000 donation to be used for fishing-related causes. WFN will also produce a feature spotlighting the winning town which will be broadcasted WFN and WFN HD.
“Cocodrie is one of the many places in our community that has earned us the reputation of being the Saltwater Fishing Capital of the World,” stated Parish President Michel Claudet. “By voting for Cocodrie, residents can help us make the rest of the world aware of the tremendous recreational fishing we have available in Terrebonne Parish,” added President Claudet.
