Parish Reschedules Public Meeting On Flood Insurance
PARISH RESCHEDULES PUBLIC MEETING ON FLOOD INSURANCE
HOUMA, LA-Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government would like to announce that the public meeting regarding changes to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) that was scheduled to be held on Thursday July 18th has been rescheduled to Tuesday July 23rd.
This meeting will take place at the Terrebonne Parish Library Main Branch (151 Library Drive) in Houma and will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of this public meeting is to inform residents of the potential changes to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) as a result of the Biggert Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012.
