Section 8 Housing Needs Landlords
Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government’s Housing and Human Services Department recently opened and closed its Section 8 waiting list.
We are currently in the process of issuing vouchers to a number of qualified clients off of that waiting list. Clients will be out in the community searching for available units to lease up. We are reaching out to current and potential landlords for a list of available units. Our clients need all sizes and types of units from a one-bedroom apartment to a four-bedroom house. Section 8 units can be any type of unit to include but not limited to apartments, condos, mobile homes or houses.
We also offer landlords the option to have their payments directly deposited into their bank accounts.
