The Terrebonne Garden Club announces the 2009 competition for The Cleanest City Contest, March 31, 2009. Help us make this happen for HOUMA! Let’s take this opportunity to make the statement to the rest of Louisiana that it takes more than two little hurricanes to keep us down. Let’s show how quickly we BOUNCE BACK and how PROUD we are of our community. Please make an effort to address several important issues for the contest:

• Debris along the sidewalks, grounds and street
• Trim along sidewalks and grounds
• Cut the grass just before the contest date
• Planting of flowers, hanging plants, etc. to add beauty
• Pull vines and weeds along fences and walkway
• Put your garbage can out of sight
• Remove unsightly signs

March 31, 2009 is the District Contest. WHEN we WIN this, we will have the opportunity to WIN the STATE Contest.
