Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 29, 2017

As a part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the Houma Police Department will be collecting unused or expired prescription medications. Collection will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 29, 2017, in the Houma Police Department Training Room. 

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications.
