Free Aqua Safety Event Rescheduled for June 24, 2017
The Aqua Safety First Community Program originally scheduled for June 3, 2017, has been rescheduled. It will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Dumas Auditorium and Pool.
The free kid-friendly event will feature swimming lessons by certified instructors, pool safety rules, water safety tips, first aid instruction, and CPR and fire extinguisher demos.
Food will be served, and entertainment will be provided by DJ KiddKidd of 105.9 FM.
The event is sponsored by Amerigroup, Real Solutions in Healthcare, Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, and Bayou Region Black Nurses Association.
