Free Aqua Safety Event Set for August 4, 2017
An Aqua Safety First Community Program will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at Dumas Auditorium and Pool.
The free kid-friendly event will feature swimming lessons by certified instructors, pool safety rules, water safety tips, first aid instruction, and CPR and fire extinguisher demos.
Food will be served, and entertainment will be provided by DJ KiddKidd of 105.9 FM.
The event is sponsored by Amerigroup, Real Solutions in Healthcare, Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, and Bayou Region Black Nurses Association.
