TPAS Back-to-School Adoption Special Aug. 17th thru 31st
The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is filled to capacity with very adoptable cats and dogs; therefore, we are offering a special back-to-school "Homework Buddy" adoption fee on cats and dogs. The shelter will offer adoptions for $25.00 for felines and $50.00 for canines beginning Thursday, August 17, 2017 and ending Thursday, August 31, 2017. Adoption hours during the week are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Adoption hours on Saturdays are from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The shelter will not be open for intake on Saturdays. It is with great anticipation that by offering a reduced price for adoptions that more animals can find homes.
Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter’s Facebook page and Petfinder.com.
Adopted animals are provided with the following:
- health exam
- vaccinations
- dewormer
- appropriate testing
- microchip (including registration)
- spay/neuter
- 1 mo. supply of flea prevention
- 1 mo. supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
- Starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
