Relay for Life of Terrebonne Parish April 28, 2018
The American Cancer society is hosting Relay for Life of Terrebonne Parish at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center Saturday, April 28, 2018 beginning at 5:00 p.m. This year's theme is Laissez les bon temps RELAY!
Event Schedule:
- Opening Ceremony - The event will kickoff by honoring everyone who has been affected by cancer and everyone who has contributed to the success of this year's Relay season.
- Survivor/Caregiver Walk - Survivors and caregivers are invited to take part in the walk while everyone gathers to cheer them on.
- Luminaria Ceremony - This ceremony will honor everyone touched by cancer. Each light represents a life -- a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer, or support for a person still fighting the disease.
- Closing Ceremony - The ceremony closes with a commitment to take action and to help lead the fight for a word free of cancer.
