Animal Shelter to Offer Reduced Adoptions for St. Patrick's Day
The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter will offer $25 cat adoptions and $50 dog adoptions in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. The "Find Your Hidden Treasure" event will take place at the following times:
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018
The shelter will not be open for intake on Saturday.

Adopted animals are provided with the following:
- Health exam
- Vaccinations
- Dewormer
- Appropriate testing
- Microchip including registration
- Spay or neuter
- One month supply of flea protection
- One month supply of heartworm prevention (dogs only)
- Starter bag of Hill's Science Diet food
