Permits (Regulatory)

The Permits Division oversees guidelines, procedures, and permits for all development within the Parish.

Contact the Permits Office to:

• verify items requiring a permit
• request copies of the elevation certificates
• review floodplain permit requirements
• report illegal floodplain development
• request a FEMA/NFIP nonconversion agreement

Permit applications can be submitted in person to the Permit Office from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Permit applications can be submitted online at any time. Review the permit refund policy before submitting an application.
