Bravo Operations

Two separate levels of operations fall within the Department of Public Works. Each level has its own set of responsibilities and functions.

• Delta Operations includes Fleet Maintenance, Forced Drainage, Gravity Drainage, Pollution Control, and Telemetry.
• Bravo Operations includes Animal Control, Bridges, Government Facilities, Roads, and Transit.

Bravo Operations is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the animal control facilities, bridges, government buildings, roadways, and transit system within the Parish. This includes ensuring that the animal control facilities are clean and safe, maintaining the bridges in good working condition, keeping the government buildings clean and well-maintained, ensuring that the roadways are safe for travel, and providing safe and reliable public transportation.
